4. Your Content and Project Data
You retain all ownership rights to the Content and Project Data you upload or create through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, integrity, and legality of your Content and Project Data. You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload and use your Content through the Service.
We do not claim ownership over your Content or Project Data, and we will not use your Content for purposes unrelated to providing the Service without your consent. We will not sell your Content or Project Data to third parties.
5. Data Storage, Backups, and Export
We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and integrity of your data. However, we are not a data backup service. You are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of important data. We strongly recommend that you regularly export and back up your Project Data.
We will make commercially reasonable efforts to allow you to export your data from the Service in standard formats. Upon termination of your Account, we will retain your data for a reasonable period (not less than 30 days) to allow you to export it, after which we may delete it permanently.
6. Financial Data and Job Costing Disclaimer
The Service includes features for tracking costs, budgets, purchase orders, timecards, expenses, progress billing, and other financial information related to glazing projects. These features include but are not limited to: cost code libraries, project budgets, purchase order management, timecard and labor cost tracking (including prevailing wage rates), expense entry, job cost ledger, Schedule of Values (SOV), AIA-style progress billing (Application for Payment), retainage tracking, and financial reports and exports (including QuickBooks-compatible CSV/Excel exports).
GlazeOps is not accounting software, tax preparation software, payroll software, or a financial advisory service. The financial tracking and job costing features are provided as project management tools only and are not a substitute for professional accounting, bookkeeping, certified payroll preparation, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any financial data you enter (including but not limited to labor rates, prevailing wage rates, burden rates, tax amounts, and billing amounts) and for complying with all applicable tax, accounting, payroll, and financial reporting obligations. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy of any calculations, totals, financial summaries, or billing documents generated by the Service.
AIA-style billing documents generated by the Service (Application for Payment, Continuation Sheet) are GlazeOps-branded equivalents provided for your convenience. They are not official AIA documents. You are responsible for reviewing all generated billing documents for accuracy before submitting them to general contractors, project owners, or other parties.
7. Bidding, Estimating, and Proposals
The Service includes features for tracking bid opportunities, creating quantity takeoffs, building cost estimates, generating proposals, managing vendor quotes, and converting won bids into projects. These features include bid pipeline management, estimating with material/labor/equipment cost breakdowns, markup calculations, proposal document generation, scope libraries, bid cloning, bid-to-project conversion, and bid analytics.
Estimates and proposals generated by the Service are based entirely on data you provide, including quantities, unit costs, labor rates, markup percentages, and scope descriptions. GlazeOps does not verify the accuracy of your pricing data, production rates, or scope assumptions. You are solely responsible for reviewing all estimates and proposals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications before submitting them to general contractors or other parties.
Bid analytics, win rate statistics, pricing history, and estimate accuracy reports are provided for informational purposes only and should not be the sole basis for business decisions. Past performance metrics do not guarantee future results. Pricing history data is derived from your own entries and may not reflect current market conditions.
Vendor quote tracking is for your internal record-keeping. The Service does not transmit quotes to vendors or facilitate vendor communications on your behalf.
8. PDF Exports and Generated Documents
The Service allows you to generate PDF exports of submittals, change orders, RFIs, daily reports, purchase orders, job cost reports, AIA-style billing documents, bid proposals, and other project documents. These exports are generated from the data you provide and are intended for your internal record-keeping and communication with general contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders.
You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated documents for accuracy before distributing them. GlazeOps is not responsible for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in generated documents that result from incorrect data entry or data formatting.
9. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments
Access to certain features of the Service requires a paid subscription. Subscription plans, pricing, features, and limits are described on our pricing page and may change from time to time. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable subscription fees.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), a third-party payment processor. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. GlazeOps does not store your credit card numbers or bank account details — this information is handled entirely by Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may manage your subscription, update payment methods, and view billing history through the Billing section of your Account. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
10. Team Chat and Messaging
The Service includes a team chat feature that allows users within a Company Account to communicate in real time through company-wide and project-specific channels. Chat messages, including any text, emoji, or information you share, are stored within the Service and visible to other members of your Company Account who have access to the relevant channel.
You are responsible for the content of your messages. Do not share sensitive personal information, passwords, or confidential data that should not be accessible to other team members through the chat feature. Company administrators may have visibility into chat channels. Chat messages are subject to the same data retention policies as other Content in the Service.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, functionality, user interface, graphics, and documentation, is owned by GlazeOps and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.
We welcome your feedback and suggestions about the Service. By submitting feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without obligation to you.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, including but not limited to email providers, file storage services, and construction industry tools. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.
13. AI Assistant (Lux)
The Service includes an AI-powered assistant called "Lux" that provides general glazing industry guidance, calculations, and project documentation assistance. By using Lux, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- For Reference Only: Lux provides AI-generated responses for informational and reference purposes only. Responses are not professional engineering advice, structural calculations, or code compliance determinations.
- Accuracy Not Guaranteed: AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You are solely responsible for verifying all specifications, calculations, code references, and technical information against manufacturer data, applicable building codes, and project documents before relying on them.
- Not a Substitute for Professional Judgment: Lux is not a substitute for licensed engineers, architects, or other qualified professionals. Do not use Lux responses as the sole basis for life-safety decisions, structural design, code compliance, or any decision that could affect the safety of persons or property.
- Third-Party AI Processing: Lux is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. When you send a message to Lux, your message content is transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their API terms of service and privacy policy. We do not send your personal information, project data, or company information to Anthropic beyond the content of your individual chat messages.
- Usage Limits: We may impose daily or monthly limits on the number of messages you can send to Lux. These limits may vary by subscription tier.
- No Liability for AI Responses: GlazeOps shall not be liable for any damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your reliance on information provided by Lux. You assume all risk associated with your use of AI-generated content.
14. Meeting Minutes, Quick Notes, and AI Transcription
The Service includes a Meeting Minutes and Quick Notes feature that allows you to record audio (via browser microphone), transcribe recordings using third-party AI, and generate structured meeting notes using AI. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Audio Recording and Consent: When you use the audio recording feature, audio is captured through your device's microphone. You are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary consent from meeting participants before recording. Many jurisdictions require the consent of all parties being recorded. It is your responsibility to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local wiretapping, eavesdropping, and recording laws.
- Third-Party Audio Processing — AssemblyAI: Audio recordings are transmitted to AssemblyAI, Inc. ("AssemblyAI") for speech-to-text transcription and speaker identification (diarization). By using the transcription feature, your audio data is processed by AssemblyAI's servers. AssemblyAI's handling of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not control how AssemblyAI processes or retains your audio data beyond their published policies.
- Third-Party AI Note Generation — Anthropic: After transcription, the text transcript may be sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate structured meeting notes, summaries, and action items. The transcript text (not the original audio) is transmitted to Anthropic for this processing. Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their API terms of service and privacy policy.
- Data Transmitted to Third Parties: Audio files are uploaded to AssemblyAI for transcription. The resulting text transcript is sent to Anthropic for note generation. We do not send attendee names, personal information, or project data alongside these transmissions unless such information is spoken in the recording itself.
- Accuracy Not Guaranteed: AI-generated transcriptions and meeting notes may contain errors, misattributed speaker labels, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing all transcribed content and generated notes before relying on them, distributing them, or using them as official meeting records.
- Sensitive Information Warning: Be aware that any confidential, privileged, or sensitive information discussed during a recorded meeting will be transmitted to third-party services for processing. Do not record meetings containing information that cannot be shared with third-party AI processors.
- No Liability: GlazeOps shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from: inaccurate transcriptions, errors in AI-generated notes, failure to obtain recording consent, or the processing of your audio data by third-party services.

16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GLAZEOPS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
